Had a few people asking me about the new podcasting equipment that I’ve been acquiring. This has proven to be a lot of fun as well as quite challenging. Steep learning curve to say the least, but I believe it’s really great for our brains to enter into phases of great learning from time to time. I’ve read that it’s a proactive method that doctors feel may help prevent Alzheimers and other mental disorders.
How I start off wanting to share my early experiences with setting up the gear necessary for a home-based podcasting studio and then end up discussing potential mental disorders, I don’t know. Maybe it’s a sign of something already stirred up :)
I’ll keep you posted from time to time as to how it’s going, next step getting all the music selected and purchased for the shows, get all the intros and outros recorded and then get busy.
If you or anyone you know is an experienced sound engineer or has podcasting experience, and wants to share helpful tips, please have them contact me. Help is always coveted.
Back soon, take care.
